Women's Tennis Blanks Cavaliers

Scranton, Pa. - The Marywood University women's tennis team was perfect in their match against conference rival Cabrini University. The squad finished the Monday afternoon match victorious, winning with a score of 9-0.
In doubles play, Allison Bashore and Gabriella Nowak won the No. 1 doubles match by an 8-1 score. The #2 and #3 doubles duos (Faith Kendricks & McKenna Seavey and Cat English & Meilei Cianfrocco, respectively) both won their matches 8-0.
In singles play, Nowak, Bashore, Kendricks, Seavey, Snell, and Flyte won the #1 through #6 doubles matches, respectively. Every singles match was decided in two games.
Marywood women's tennis returns to action against conference foe Immaculata in Immaculata, Pa. on Saturday, April 15.
