Scranton, Pa. — The Marywood University men's tennis team brought down Saint Elizabeth University with a score of 9-0 on Wednesday.

The Pacers finished with a perfect win in doubles matches as Eddie McGreevy and David Chemidlin defeated Michael Cadavid and Jesse Guerrero with a 8-0 win. The second set of doubles matches comprised of James Cawley and Jack Biggs securing a 8-0 win over Jeremiah Boger and Josh Girod. The third set of doubles matches consisted of a default win by Max Burke and Matthew Wygonik.

In the first singles match, McGreevy won 6-1 and 6-0, respectively, against Cadavid. Chemidlin defeated Guerrero with a 6-1 and 6-0 score also.

Cawley won both of his sets with a 6-3 win in each match. Biggs and Burke each went undefeated in both of their matches with a 6-0 score in each to take down Boger and Bell, respectively.

Alex Ni captured a win by default.

The Pacers begin conference play on Thursday as they take on the No. 1 seed Marymount University.
