Women's Golf Competes in Landmark Conference Championship

Moosic, Pa. — Two members of the Marywood University women's golf team competed in the Landmark Conference Championships over the course of two days. Emily Dowler and Maddie Franceski each competed as an individual.

The Catholic University of America won first place overall with a team score of 661 (335, 326) at the Glenmaura National Golf Course.

The University of Scranton's Madalyne Buhler finished first overall with a score of 153 (71, 82). She was the only individual to shoot for par. 

Dowler finished in 16th place overall shooting a 195. On the first day of competition, Dowler shot a 100, while improving her score by five strokes on day two. 

Franceski placed 22nd overall after shooting a 213 (104, 109) over the course of the two day tournament.
