Glenside, Pa. — Marywood University earned its first women's tennis win of the season with a 7-2 decision over Arcadia University on Saturday. The Pacers won five singles and two doubles matches.
Gabriella Nowak was victorious in No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Savannah Falk.
Faith Kendricks legged out a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 victory in the second singles.
Kylie Kilgore proclaimed a win in No. 3 singles by 6-3, 6-2 scores.
McKenna Seavey notched a 6-4, 6-3 victory in the fourth.
Gabby Nunez carried on her momentum with a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
The top flight doubles team of Nowak and Kilgore eked out an 8-7 (1) win.
Cat English teamed with Nunez for an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles.
Marywood will rematch DeSales next Saturday.
