Pacers Caged by Lions in Three Sets

Abington, Pa. — Marywood University suffered a 3-0 loss to Penn State Abington Tuesday in the teams' first-ever volleyball matchup. It marks the Pacers' second consecutive loss. 

Penn State Abington prevailed by scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-23. 

Ryleigh Hart had eight kills for a .267 attack percentage. Autumn Savitski and Libby Smith each tallied six kills. 

Jaedyn Laws had a double-double of 14 assists and 10 digs. Peyton Fischer provided 16 digs. 

Julia Strohm nearly led a comeback in the third set. She had four aces. 

Ellie Van Otten had 11 kills for the Lions Alyssa Flickinger had 10 kills. McKinley Grimm factored in with 31 assists. 

Marywood travels to King's College on Thursday.
