Marywood Swats Pratt on Senior Day

Casey Hagerstrom leads with 14.5 points

Scranton, Pa. — Marywood University posted a pivotal Atlantic East Conference volleyball victory over Pratt Institute Saturday. The Pacers defeated the Cannoneers in three sets on their Senior Day. 

Marywood won by sets of 25-15, 25-20, 25-8. 

The Pacers honored seniors Casey Hagerstrom, Libby Smith, Bethany Burns, Autumn Savitski and Melissa Bostjancic. 

Hagerstrom led the Pacers with 10 kills and one error with a .600 attack percentage. She finished with 14.5 points. Hagerstrom tallied three aces, three block assists and three digs. 

Burns manufactured five kills and six total blocks. Ryleigh Hart notched six points. 

Defensively, Peyton Fischer added nine digs. Jaedyn Laws supplied 13 assists. 

Pratt was led by Natalie Dziadzio's nine kills and eight digs. Emily Sontag had 13 assists. 

Marywood travels to Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday.
