Pacers traveled to Widener for the Danny Curran Invitational

Six put their name on the record books

Chester, Pa. - Marywood University added six student-athletes to the outdoor Track and Field record book this weekend after the Danny Curran Invitational hosted at Widener University.

Abby Megotz finished in 14th place in the 400 with a time of 1:03.00. She now holds the fourth best time in school history.

Lany Straub earned herself 13th place with a 18:40.37 in the women's 5k.

Emma Wagner placed 14th in the women's 100 hurdles posting 20.87.

The women's team took home sixth place in the 4 x 400 relay. Haley Gaines, Jocelyn Dames, Wagner, and Megotz ran a 4:31.48.

Marywood had Marissa Martin place 11th in triple jump (8.96m) followed by Daelyn Karboski who placed 12th (8.68m).

On the men's side, Joseph Cardillo, KC Nwokedi, Bryce Ryder, Raidan Francis, and Thomas Lee all made their way in the top five of the record books.

Cardillo is now ranked second all-time in the 10k with his 32:36.36 time. He placed 27th overall.

Nwokedi is continuing his terrific freshman campaign earning 10th place in shot put (11.98m). He is now ranked fourth all-time in this category. In discus, Nwokedi placed 13th (33.49m) and Will Kalinich placed 17th (31.83m).

Ryder ran an impressive 15:08.26 in the men's 5k earning him 12th place. With his finish, his time is now second best all-time.

Francis competed in the 800m and placed 19th with a fifth best time in program history, 1:59.95. He also placed 22nd in the men's 1500m (4:08.02).

Lee earned 12th in the men's 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:37.82. He now ranks fourth all-time.

In the men's 1500m, Jack Baronski placed 17th (4:05.25).

Baronski, Francis, Jakob Seamans, and John Russo ran the 4x400 relay taking home a 10th place finish of 3:39.72.

The Pacers will continue the season Friday competing at Misericordia.
