Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Pacers Blanked by Royals, 3-0

Scranton, Pa. — The Marywood University men's soccer team were blanked by crosstown foe University of Scranton 3-0 on Tuesday. 

Both sides were kept quiet until the 41st minute when the Royals tallied their first goal of the night. Preston Rushmore connected with Tyler Colton to grab the 1-0 lead. 

University of Scranton added to the lead in the 53rd minute with a goal from Matt Capretto. 

The Royals capitalized in the 83rd minute on a penalty kick taken by Ciaran Corr, extending the lead to 3-0. 

The Pacers had a total of 10 shots, with three being on goal. Owen Clearwaters had two shots, both on target. 

The Royals had 17 shots, seven of which were on target. 

Kelton Ostrander was in the net for Marywood and recorded four saves. 

Charlie Smith recorded three saves for the Royals. 

The Pacers will be back in action Saturday when they travel to Arcadia University for a match-up against the Knights.
