Adonizio Earns Player of the Week, Gagliardi to AEC Weekly Honor Roll

Haddonfield, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's and Women's Tennis weekly award winners, Monday. Marywood University's Hanna Adonizio was named Player of the Week on the women's side while Gavin Gagliardi was listed to the Weekly Honor Roll.

In a 1-1 week against Wilkes-Barre opponents, Adonizio had a 6-3, 6-1 win in No. 5 singles versus Wilkes. The junior went on for a 6-2, 6-0 win against her King's opponent in No. 5 singles. She went 1-1 at No. 2 doubles, teaming with Catarina English for a shutout win (6-0) over King's and losing 6-4 to the Colonels.

Gagliardi went undefeated in singles play in a 1-1 week for the Pacers. He had a 6-0, 6-0 win in the top singles flight in a victory over King's. Gagliardi also went on to a 7-6, 6-4 win versus Wilkes. He teamed with Alex Corcoran for a 1-1 in No. 1 doubles, beating the Monarchs by a 6-0 decision.

Men's Tennis will be back in action Tuesday against Bard. Women's Tennis will be back on the court Saturday at Oneonta.
