Marywood Concludes Regular Season, Falling to Immaculata

Pacers secure No. 2 seed for Atlantic East Conference Championship

Scranton, Pa. — On Wednesday evening, the Marywood University men's soccer team hosted Immaculata University for the final game of the regular season. The Pacers (8-8-1, 5-2 AEC) were shut out by the Mighty Macs, 1-0. 

The lone goal of the game came in the 14th minute, as Immaculata grabbed the 1-0 lead that they would protect for the remainder of the match. 

The Pacers out-shot the Mighty Macs, 27-8. 

Nine of the Marywood shots were on target, compared to three for Immaculata.  

Donnie Powell collected eight of the Pacers' shots, with three on-goal. 

The Pacers also led in comer kicks, 8-0. 

Ryan Schweigart tallied two saves in net for Marywood. 

Luca Greppellini recorded nine saves for the Lions. 

The Pacers will begin the postseason on Tuesday, as they host Marymount.
