Men's Cross Country Races Division III's Top Runners at Paul Short

Marywood finishes 35th out of 45 teams

Bethlehem, Pa. -- Marywood University men's cross country competed against NCAA Division III's top runners at the Paul Short Run White Race on Friday. The Pacers finished 35th out of 45 teams in the competition.

The Pacers averaged 26 minutes, 47 minutes on the 8K course at Lehigh University. Marywood totaled 952 points. 

Joseph Cardillo led the Pacers with a 68th place finish. He crossed the finish in 25:30, beating his previous Paul Short finish by just a tenth of a second. 

Bryce Ryder came in 74th place with a 25:31.1 finish. He beat his previous best Paul Short run by seven seconds. 

Jakob Seamans ran a 27:22.7 for 293rd place. Seamans beat his PR by a minute, 35 seconds. 

Raidan Francis crossed the finish in 27:45.8. James Modrovsky beat his previous Paul Short run by 47 seconds with a 27:47. 

In his first Paul Short race, Ethan Williams beat his PR by 53 seconds with a 28:18. Jacob Walsh ran the race in 28:58.1.

Rounding out the Marywood runners were Brody Graff (31:44.6) and Austin Price (34:25.3). 

Marywood competes in two weeks at Connecticut College.
