Men's Tennis Streak Ends at Susquehanna

Marywood won four straight matches for the first time since 2012-13

Selinsgrove, Pa. -- Marywood University men's tennis' four-match winning streak came to an end in a 7-0 loss to Susquehanna University on Saturday. The Pacers had their longest winning streak in 13 seasons. 

Zane Smoker lost the No. 3 singles match by a 6-2, 7-6 (3) decision. Fred Kloss fell 6-3, 6-2 in the fourth singles. 

Aidan Brunner had a 6-2, 6-2 loss in the fifth singles. 

The No. 3 doubles team of Kloss and Jack Biggs fell by a 6-4 score. Alex Corcoran and Gavin Gagliardi lost the top doubles flight by a 6-2 score. Smoker and Brunner fell 6-1 in the No. 2 doubles. 

Marywood hosts King's College at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
