Women's Cross Country Takes Third at AEC Championships

Bella Auchenbach takes third overall

Milton, N.Y. — Marywood University finished in third place at the Atlantic East Conference women's cross country championships on Saturday. The Pacers finished with 72 points with an average 6K time of 29 minutes, 18 seconds.

Marymount University won the team championship with 28 points. Immaculata University was the runner-up for the second straight season with 58 points. Gwynedd Mercy University followed the Pacers with 101 points, ahead of Pratt Institute's 109 points. Saint Elizabeth rounded out the group with 144 points.

Bella Auchenbach was fifth place in 26:59.2 to earn an all-conference bid.

Janelle Sanabria took 10th in her first collegiate championship in 27:51.4.

Immaculata's Aubrey Donahue was the race-winner in 25:03. She won by a minute over the Saints' Brier Amerlinck.

The duo of Zoe Badner and Abigail Adamsky were 18th and 19th place, respectively. Badner had a run of 29:57.2. Adamsky finished in 30:22.7.

Cassandra Juliano rounded out the Marywood runners in 31:20.4.

Marywood will compete at the Mid-Atlantic Region championships in two weeks.
