Hallam Earns AEC Player of the Week Honors, Bransford to Weekly Honor Roll

Haddonfield, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Volleyball Weekly Award Winners Monday. Marywood's Taylor Hallan notched Player of the Week Honors while Ayla Bransford was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll, respectively.

Hallam led the Pacers to a 1-1 week in Atlantic East play with 38.5 points (4.81 per set). She had 29 kills with just one error for a .519 hitting percentage. Hallam had 14 kills, five total blocks and a .419 hitting percentage in a thrilling five-set loss to Neumann. She posted the second-highest hitting percentage in a match in school history with .652 versus Pratt. She did not have an error with 15 kills, adding to three aces and three total blocks. 

Bransford tallied 71 assists and eight aces in a 1-1 week for the Pacers. She totaled 42 assists and six aces in a five-set loss to Neumann. Bransford added 29 assists in a 3-0 victory over Pratt.

The Pacers will be in action Wednesday night, hosting Centenary.
