Pacers Drop to Immaculata in Regular Season Finale

Marywood looks forward to the Atlantic East playoffs

Immaculata, Pa. — The Marywood University Pacers trekked down south to take on the Immaculata Might Macs for the regular season finale of Atlantic East Conference play. The Pacers (12-13, 3-7 AEC) would go on to fall short to the Mighty Macs (20-3, 10-0 AEC), 79-48. 

Miranda Cantor led the Pacers with 15 points, her career high. 

Megan Cavoli notched eight points and Olivia Ciullo collected a team-leading six rebounds.

Kennedy Bittenbender and Cantor each had three assists. 

Marywood trailed in the first half, 39-12.

Eventually, the Pacers would go on and be defeated, 79-48.

In total, the Pacers went 18-59 (30.5 percent) from the field, 7-25 (28.0 percent) from beyond the arc, and 4-5 (80.0 percent) on free throws. 

The Mighty Macs were 31-72 (43.1 percent) in total, going 6-25 (24.0 percent) from three, and 11-14 (78.6 percent) from the charity stripe. 

The Pacers were out-rebounded 26-49. 

Immaculata's Riley Cassidy posted 21 points while Carly Coleman notched 17. 

The Pacers clinched an Atlantic East playoff berth. An announcement of opponent and game times will be posted soon.
