Pacers Bow Out to Immaculata in Atlantic East Semifinal

Marywood finishes with a 13-14 record

Immaculata, Pa. — The Marywood University women's basketball team went on to road to face No. 1 Immaculata University in the Atlantic East semifinal. The Pacers kept the Mighty Macs close in the first half but succumbed, 69-48. With the loss, Marywood ends the season with a 13-14 (3-7 AEC) record. This is the highest overall record since the 2018-19 season where the Pacers also finished, 13-14. 

Olivia Ciullo lead the Pacers offense tonight, having 14 points. 

Marywood pressured Immaculata early, taking an 18-15 lead after the first quarter. 

The Pacers scored nine points in the second quarter and went into halftime down 30-27. 

Immaculata's offense came alive in the third quarter notching 24 points, compared to the Pacers' nine. 

The Pacers would go on to fall, 69-48. 

Rachel McDonald (12) and Megan Cavoli (11) also scored double-digit points for thr Pacers. 

Kendel Card had a team-high seven boards. 

Ciullo, Alli Griscavage, and Stephanie Klemick each collected six rebounds for the Pacers. 

Immaculata's Reese Mullins led the Mighty Macs with 16 points. 

Marywood overall shot 17-49 (34.7 percent) from the field, 8-21 (38.1 percent) from three, and 6-10 (60.0 percent) on free throws. 

Immaculata went 21-65 (32.2 percent) from the field, 7-23 (30.4 percent) from beyond the arc, and 20-27 (74.1 percent) from the charity stripe. 

The Pacers and the Mighty Macs each had 36 rebounds.
