Pacers Cruises to Victory Against Gwynedd Mercy

Three Pacers post career-highs

Scranton, Pa. — The Marywood University women's basketball team was in total control on Wednesday evening, as they rolled past Gwynedd Mercy University by a score of 77-55. With the win, the Pacers improve to 12-11, overall and 3-5 in conference play with two games to go.

Marywood dominated in all but one quarter, carrying a 20 point lead into the half.

The Pacers would go on to pave the way to a 77-55 victory.

Marywood put on an offensive masterclass, making one of every two shots they put up.

Olivia Ciullo led the offensive dominance, boasting a career high 30 points on the evening. Ciullo shot 12-16 (75.0 percent) in total and 2-2  from beyond the arc.

In total, the Pacers were 30-60 (50.0 percent) from the floor, 12-26 (46.2 percent) from beyond the arc, and 5-6 (83.3 percent) from the free-throw line.

Stephanie Klemick also had a career day, dishing out a game-leading and career-best nine assists. Klemick added three blocks as well.

Megan Cavoli led both teams in rebounds, grabbing a career-high nine boards for the Pacers. Cavoli collected 15 points to go with the boards.

Faith Kendricks tallied eight rebounds off the bench.

Gwynedd Mercy went 19-59 (32.2 percent) from the floor. The Griffins also went 3-19 (15.8 percent) from three and 14-18 (77.8 percent) at the charity stripe.

Marywood out-rebounded Gwynedd Mercy 38-31.

The Pacers will host Marymount in ten days for the second to last regular season game.
