Pacers Compete at Misericordia, Moravian

Bethlehem, Pa.; Dallas Twp., Pa. — Marywood University men's and women's track and field teams competed at Misericordia and Moravian universities over the week. 

At Misericordia, Brandon Reed produced the second-best triple jump in school history. Reed hit a distance of 39 feet, 11 1/2 inches (12.18m) for fifth place. 

KC Nwokedi was seventh place in the hammer throw, measuring a distance of 120 feet, 4 inches (36.69m). He was also fifth in the shot put at 37 feet, 6 3/4 inches (11.45m). 

Thomas Lee came in seventh place in the 800 at 2:04.78. 

On the women's side, Marissa Martin came in ninth place in the high jump, clearing 4 feet, 4 inches (1.32m). 

Page won the discus with a throw of 114 feet, 4 inches (34.86m). Leah Zambetti earned fourth at 98 feet, 6 inches (30.03m). 

Page was runner-up in the shot put. Her throw measured at 36 feet, 10 1/2 inches (11.24m). Alli Griscavage was sixth at 31 feet, 3 inches (9.52m). 

Zambetti came back to form with a second-place performance in the javelin. Her toss measured at 107 feet, 4 inches (32.73m). 

At Moravian, Abby Megotz ran the third-best 400 hurdles time at Marywood. She was 15th place in 1:13.28. Megotz came in 18th place in the 200 dash in 27.11 seconds. 

Lany Straub won the 10K in 39:28.16. Paige Redman (44:29.27) and Gabby Snee (45:30.48) were sixth and seventh, respectively.

Bella Auchenbach was 13th place in the 5K in 21:33.05.

The women's 4x100 relay of Kalie Fernandez-Naughton, Emma Wagner, Brooke Barwick and Abby Megotz came in 10th place in 54.34 seconds. 

Jack Baronski was runner-up in the 10K with a 32:51.37 — good for second all-time at Marywood. Joseph Cardillo ran a 15:42.11 for fifth place. 

Thomas Lee came in 16th place in the 3K Steeplechase. Behind him, AJ Rosenfeld cracked the Top 5 with an 11:08.19 for 18th place. Jakob Seamans trailed in 20th at 11:24.53. 

The men's 4x400 relay of Jack Messina, Jadyn Sturniolo, Brody Graff and Joseph Burke were seventh place in 3:38.34. 

Reed came in sixth place in the long jump at 20 feet, 9 1/4 inches (6.33m). 

Tyler Hoysan ran a 12th place finish in the 110 hurdles with a wind-assisted time of 16.58 seconds. 

Will Kalinich was 16th in the javelin, hitting a distance of 151 feet, 6 inches (46.17m). 

Marywood competes in its last regular season meet Friday at King's College.
