Vitale Named to Atlantic East Conference Weekly Honor Roll

Lancaster, Pa. — Marywood University's Alex Vitale was selected to the Atlantic East Conference weekly honor roll.

Vitale extended her singles winning streak to five matches in Marywood's split week against Neumann and Pratt. She won 6-3, 6-3 to defeat the Knights' Kayleigh DellaVecchi at No. 4 singles. Vitale needed a third-set tiebreaker to defeat the Cannoneers' Julia Ognibene 6-0, 1-6, 1-0 (12-10). She went 1-1 on the week in second doubles flight. Vitale and Kylie Kilgore won 6-2 over Neumann. Their four-match doubles winning streak came to an end against Pratt in a 6-3 loss.
