Nowak Named Elite 20 Winner; Marywood Wins Coaching Staff of the Year

Marywood had two singles and two doubles named all-confernece

Lancaster, Pa. — Marywood University won the Atlantic East Conference Women's Tennis Coaching Staff of the Year, officials announced Tuesday. The Pacers earned the Atlantic East Elite 20 winner and four all-conference awards.

Marywood garnered Coaching Staff of the Year after finishing the season as the conference runner up. The Pacers are coached by Dana Ciccotti and assisted by Lyndsey Medric and Alex Riccio.

Gabriella Nowak earned the Atlantic East Elite 20 award for women's tennis, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average competing at the finals site at each of the Atlantic East's 20 team championships. She senior maintains a cumulative 3.94 GPA in Interior Architecture. Nowak earns the Pacers' first Atlantic East Elite 20 award. For her career, she has an Atlantic East Rookie of the Year, First Team Singles, First Team Doubles, Second Team Singles, and Second Team Doubles.

Marywood had two all-conference singles and two all-conference doubles teams. 

Avianna Santarelli and Alex Vitale were named First Team Singles. Santarelli went 7-4 overall and 4-0 in conference play at No. 6 singles. Vitale was 8-6 overall and 4-0 in conference play at No. 4 singles. For both of them, it was their first career all-conference awards. 

Kylie Kilgore and Vitale were selected First Team Doubles. They went 6-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play at the No. 2 doubles. Kilgore previously had All-AEC Second Team Doubles in 2023-24. 

Faith Kendricks and McKenna Seavey earned Second Team Doubles honors. Together, they went 6-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play at No. 3 doubles. Seavey and Kendricks previously were All-AEC First Team Doubles in 2022-23 doubles. For Kendricks, she completes her five-year career with three All-AEC singles (one First, two Second) and four All-AEC doubles (three First, one Second) honors. 

Marywood was conference runner-ups for the 11th time in program history. The Pacers have 11 conference championships.
