Marywood Falls to RPI on the Road

Jason Camardo scores first goal as a Pacer

Troy, N.Y. — Marywood University men's soccer suffered a 6-1 loss to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Sunday. The Pacers fall to 1-1-0 on the season. 

RPI's Landon Bradley scored four goals. Thomas Corcoran had a brace for the Engineers. 

The Pacers' lone goal came from Jason Camardo with an assist credited to Drew Smith

The Engineers went ahead in the third minute. Corcorcan converted a Noah Gregory feed for the early lead. 

Ten minutes later, Bradley doubled RPI's lead from Benjamin Tymeson. 

Marywood put its first goal on the board in the 70th minute. Camardo found the net off a Smith feed. 

RPI scored four goals in the 13:07 span. A mere 70 seconds after Camardo's goal, Corcoran put the Engineers ahead by two with a goal from Owen Schnur. 

Kelton Ostrander tallied four saves for the Pacers. RPI's Noah Churchill had a pair of stops. 

RPI outshot the Pacers by a 23-8 margin with a 10-3 advantage in shots on target. 

Marywood hosts Susquehanna University on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
