Marywood Inks Partnership with Teamworks

Marywood Athletics adds platform to streamline recruiting and compliance

Scranton, Pa. — Marywood University Athletics announced today a multiyear partnership with Teamworks. The digital software partnership centralizes student-athlete functions across all 23 varsity athletics programs plus esports, bringing together everyone associated with the daily functions of the athletics staff. Marywood will adopt the Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting (previously known as ARMS) platform.

"Communication is the cornerstone of good leadership and operational excellence, and the Teamworks C+R package of products provides coaches, staff, and student-athletes a comprehensive communication platform that will streamline the large flow of information we have between athletic areas, personnel, and student-athletes," said Marywood Director of Athletics and Recreation Andrew Smith. "Many of our teams were using various recruiting databases, but moving all teams to Teamworks allows us to integrate with our Admissions and Registrar's offices."

Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting is a comprehensive and flexible platform to streamline recruiting, automate processes, centralize data, and mitigate the risk of compliance violations.

"As a former Division III commissioner, I know how critical it is for institutions to operate efficiently while maintaining strong communication and compliance across campus," said Jessica Huntley, Senior Business Development Executive at Teamworks. "We're excited to partner with Marywood University Athletics to centralize recruiting and compliance operations, reduce administrative burden, and create meaningful efficiencies that allow coaches and staff to focus on what matters most  the student-athlete experience."

The partnership will bolster Marywood's competitive edge in prospective student-athlete recruitment:
Streamlines Processes: Customizes to meet needs, automate workflows, reporting, and apply the latest NCAA regulations to institution-specific criteria.
Configures Recruiting Flow: Builds and automates recruiting boards and evaluation pipelines.
Centralizes Data: Collects, manages, and shares data with flexible systems and sophisticated permissions.
Moves Controls Upstream: Strengthens institutional control by building compliance rules and guardrails into automated processes.
Visibility & Accountability: Arms Marywood athletics and admissions staff with timely and accurate information, and automates workflows to implement controls.
