Strong Second Half Pushes Pacers Past Pratt

Blume tallies 19 points

Brooklyn, N.Y. — The Marywood University women's basketball team traveled to Pratt Institute on Saturday. The Pacers (11-10, 6-4 AEC) brought home a 74-65 victory over the Cannoneers (1-17, 0-10 AEC). 

Pratt grabbed an early 18-16 lead after the first quarter. 

The Cannoneers held a one point lead heading into halftime. 

Marywood was able to tie up the game in the third, before ultimately pulling ahead in the fourth and running away with a 74-65 victory. 

The Pacers shot 37.1 percent in total, going 10-32 (31.3 percent) from three and 18-22 (81.8 percent) from the charity stripe. 

Marywood was led offensively by Mia Blume's 19 points. 

Megan Cavoli also added 17 points. 

The Cannoneers faired a tad better from the floor, shooting 42.6 percent in total, 41.7 percent from behind the arc, and 82.4 percent from the line. 

Kylie Grant led Pratt with 18 points. 

The Cannoneers also out-rebounded the Pacers, 39-36. 

Pratt's Anabela Jakelic led all players with 16 rebounds. 

Blume, Jewlya McCullon, and Anyah Ortiz collected six rebounds each for Marywood. 

The Pacers will be on the road Wednesday, February 11th, facing Immaculata.
