Baseball Splits with Ravens

Dayton Aguiar hits an inside-the-park grand slam

Philadelphia — Marywood University split a baesball doubleheader with Rosemont College on Sunday. The Pacers fell 10-7 in the opener before triumphing 15-4 in the nightcap. 

Game 1: Rosemont 10, Marywood 7 

The Ravens scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to prevail over the Pacers. 

Four players finished with multi-hit efforts for Marywood. Tanner Vicendese went 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIS. 

Ethan Levine reached three times with two stolen bases. 

Game 2: Marywood 15, Rosemont 4

Dayton Aguilar hit a pinch hit inside-the-park grand slam to help Marywood rout the Ravens. 

AJ Kuzior went 2 for 3 with three runs — the lone Marywood player to record a multi-hit game. 

Danny Tiedemann secured the win, throwing four scoreless innings of three-hit ball. Logan Vakiener and Tim Higgins each threw a scoreless frame. 

Marywood (3-2) is idle until Spring Break. The Pacers take on Penn State Behrens on Monday, March 9 in Fort Pierce, Fla.
