Men’s Tennis Chosen Fifth in Atlantic East Preseason Poll

Haddonfield, N.J.- The Marywood University men's tennis team were picked fifth in the Atlantic East Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll Tuesday afternoon.

Marymount was picked first with 15 total points and three-first place votes. Close behind in second place is Pratt, which received 14 points and two first-place votes.
Neumann was selected third in the poll with 10 points followed by Immaculata in fourth with six points.

Marywood, who posted a 5-5 record this fall, rounded out the group with five total points. 2025 Second Team All-Conference singles selection Fred Kloss has posted three singles and five doubles wins thus far in his junior season. 

Conference play begins on Saturday, March 21, with Pratt heading to Neumann and Immaculata heading to Marymount. Marywood then opens conference play on Saturday, March 28, hosting Neumann. The AEC Tournament will begin with semifinals on Friday, April 24, on the campus of Neumann, with the semifinal winners meeting one day later, on Saturday the 25. From there, the champion will face off against the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) men's tennis champion on Sunday, May 3 at the Hershey Racquet Club, with the winner earning an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament.

The Pacers open the 2026 spring season on Saturday, Mar. 21 at Juniata College.
