Women's Flag Football Plays First Games in Program History

Pacers fall to Penn State Schuylkill and Neumann

Box Score 1 Aston, Pa. — Marywood University began its women's flag football program with a pair of losses against Penn State Schuykill and Neumann. The Pacers lost to the Lions 35-0 and were blanked by the Knights 51-0. 

In the loss to the Lions, Aby Whitmore gained 36 yards on five rushes. Miranda Taveras completed her only pass for 16 yards. 

Sabrina Frazer caught one pass for 16 yards. Jessica Kline received one pass for 15 yards. 

Erin Day caught an interception for a 17 yard return. 

Kelsey Green punted three times for a 25.3 yard average. 

In the loss to the Knights, Day completed 8 of 21 passes for 62 yards. 

Taveras caught three passes for 20 yards. Kline received three passes for 37 yards. 

Whitmore finished with six tackles. Taveras intercepted one pass. 

Green averaged 26.86 yards on seven punts.
