Pacers Close Regular Season at Rainy King's

Wilkes-Barre Twp., Pa. — The Marywood University women's and men's track and field teams completed their regular season at the King's College Monarch Open. The Pacers competed in heavy rains and temperatures in the high 40s.

Shilo Bivins won the high jump with a height of 5 feet, 7 3/4 inches (1.72m).

The men's throwers took a pair of second-place finishes. Zach Hoover hit a 37 feet, 5 3/4 inch mark (11.42m) in the shot put. Josh Schriver tossed the discus 117 feet, 3 inches (35.73m).

Logan Smith was third in the javelin with a measure of 114 feet, 6 inches (34.9m).

In the sprints, Daniel Matyjaszek was runner-up in the 100 dash in 11.67 seconds. Cyrus Holland was third in the 200 dash in 23.4 seconds.

Kunda Ngoy came in third in the 400 (53.26), and Raidan Francis ran the 800 in 2:03.35 for fourth.

Ethan Williams recorded a fourth place finish (4:27.4) in the 1,500, and Daniel Lauresen ran the 110 hurdles in 19.88 seconds for third.

On the women's side, Braelyn Reed came in second place in the 100 dash in 13.35 seconds.

Abby Megotz was the runner-up in the 400 in 1:04.64. Carly Walters was second place in the 800 in 2:26.45.

Paige Redman crossed the 1,500 finish in 5:32.14 for third place.

Marywood had a pair of first-place finishes. Kalie Fernandez was first in the 100 hurdles in 17.78 seconds, in addition to a second-place high jump of 4 feet, 1 1/2 inch (1.26). Elizabeth Tomasetti won the 400 hurdles in 1:11.79.

Tasiyah Johnson was second in the triple jump in 29 feet, 9 1/4 inches (9.07m).

In the throws, Alli Griscavage was fourth with a hurl of 87 feet, 1 inches (26.55m).

Marywood will compete in the Atlantic East Conference championships next weekend at Immaculata University.
