Women's Lacrosse Falls in Atlantic East Championship Game

Aston, Pa. — Marywood University fell to top-seeded Neumann University 18-13 in the Atlantic East Conference women's lacrosse championship game. The Pacers close their season with an 11-7 overall record and an conference runner-up finish. 

Natalie Yilanjian scored four goals and an assist for five points. Yilanjian added three caused turnovers. 

Avery Meighan and Danica Kelly finished with five points on two goals and three assists. Meighan supplied six ground balls and six draw controls. 

Alli Duncan scored two goals. Carly Lynch provided a goal and an assist. Alivia Backes had two goals and an assist. 

Kaitlyn Smith completed her career with two assists and nine ground balls. 

Jenna Scala and Jenny Keagy each made six saves. 

Neumann was led by Alena Catka's eight points on four goals and four assists. Catka finished with 15 draw controls. Maggie Miller, Krista Geibler and Rachel Roane all had four goals.
