Marywood Finishes Runner-Up in Commissioner’s Cup, Mike Drass Trophy Standings

Pacers captured three conference titles during the 2025-26 academic year

Haddonfield, N.J.- Marywood University finished as the Atlantic East Conference runners-up for the Mike Drass Trophy and the Men's and Women's Commissioners' Cup, officials announced Friday.

The Mike Drass Trophy is named after the late Mike Drass, Former Athletic Director and Football Coach for Wesley College. Drass was the AD for the Wolverines from May 2003 until his passing in May 2018. He also coached one of the most successful DIII football programs for 26 seasons. He was an instrumental piece to the seven founding members of the Atlantic East Conference.

Marywood finished second overall in both the men's and women's Commissioner's Cup standings as well as the Mike Drass Trophy standings. The Pacers captured conference championships in men's cross country, field hockey, and women's outdoor track & field, while also earning runner-up finishes in women's volleyball, women's basketball, women's lacrosse, and men's outdoor track & field.

After being second in the standings for the fall and winter seasons, Marymount turned it on in the spring, taking home five of the nine championships. The Saints compiled 160 points, with Marywood, who was atop the leaderboards through the winter, finishing second with 143 points. Immaculata was third with 118 points, followed by Neumann with 93 in fourth, and Gwynedd Mercy with 58, good for fifth. The final three spots were held by Pratt (44), Saint Elizabeth (43), and Saint Elizabeth (24), respectively.

On the Men's side of the Commissioner Cup, Marymount finished with a 12-point lead over Marywood; the Saints tallied 69 points and the Pacers recorded 57. Immaculata had 48 points, Neumann posted 37, and Gwynedd Mercy finished with 29, for the third, fourth and fifth places, respectively. Centenary finished sixth (24), followed by Pratt (17) in seventh, and Saint Elizabeth in eighth (11).

Marymount also sits atop the Women's side of the Commissioner Cup after totaling 91 points on the year. Marywood fell shortly behind with 86 points, as Immaculata finished third with 70 points. Neumann, with 56 points, landed fourth. Gwynedd Mercy sat sixth at 29 points, followed by Pratt (27), Centenary (19), and rounded out by Saint Elizabeth (13).
