Cross Country and Track and Field Places Six on CSC Academic All-District Team

Greenwood, Ind.- The Marywood University men's and women's cross country and track and field teams had six student-athletes who were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, announced Tuesday afternoon.

To be nominated, student-athletes must rank in the top 50 in their region in a single individual event in cross country, indoor track or outdoor track; maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher; and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the university.

Joseph Cardillo was the lone men's recipient of this honor. On the women's side, five Pacers earned Academic All-District recognition: Kalie Fernandez-Naughton, Anna Napoli, Leah Zambetti, Zoe Badner, and Alli Griscavage. Badner and Zambetti earn their second Academic All-District selection.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
