Women's Golf Opens Season at Susquehanna

Gillette finishes 22-over in collegiate debut

Hummels Wharf, Pa. — Marywood University opened its women's golf season with a 338-397 loss to Susquehanna University on Sunday. All five River Hawks golfers finished at the top of the field.

Lauren Gillette led the Pacers in sixth place with a 22-over. She hit a birdie on the Par 3 15th hole.

Carly Mulroy was seventh with a 26-over par. She birdied on the Par 4 fourth hole.

Megan Rickaby was two strokes behind in eighth place. She parred the fifth and eighth holes.

Kiley Barbour shot a 41-over par, and Maddie Labatch hit a 43-over par. Lauren Nemeth (+50) and Emily Poley (+63) rounded out the Pacers golfers.

Marywood will host Wilkes University at Stone Hedge Golf Course on Sunday, Sept. 27.
