Biography

2016-17...Landmark Academic Honor Roll.  Finished 6th in the 400 IM, 11th in the 200 Fly and 12th in the 200 IM at the Landmark Conference Championships. Seven dual meet wins.

2015-16...Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society. Landmark Academic Honor Roll. Pacer Scholar Athlete... Finished 16th in the 200 IM, 6th in the 400 Medley relay, 8th in the 400 IM, and 15th in the 200 butterfly. 

2014-15...Landmark Academic Honor Roll. Finished 6th in the 400 Medley Relay and 13th in the 200 Fly at Landmark Conference Championships…Achieved 19 top 3 places in individual events and also contributed with six top 3 relay finishes during the regular season…Won the 500 and was part of the winning Free Relay against Wilkes (Oct. 18)…Picked a key win in the 200 Fly against conference and crosstown rival Scranton (11/22) to help Marywood to the win… Was 5th as part of the 800 Free Relay at the Gompei Invite @ WPI (12/5).

2013-14…Placed 4th in the 800 Free Relay, 10th in the 200 Fly, 11th in the 200 Free and 12th in the 500 Free at Landmark Championships (2/7)…Part of school record 800 Free Relay (7:13.65)…Achieved 16 individual top three finishes during the regular season including five wins…Won three individual events against Cabrini (11/17)…Won the 1000 Free and 100 Fly against Drew (11/9)…Placed 2nd overall as a member of the 800 Free Relay at Diamond City Invite (11/23.)

High School...Earned All-Naugatuck Valley League honors sophomore, junior and senior seasons.  Four-year letterwinner.  Named team MVP freshman year.  Earned All-State Class "5" honors in senior year in 200 IM and 500 free.  Earned Most Improved honors from Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut and made National Team in 2011 and 2012.  Scholar-Athlete Award winner.  National Honor Society.

Personal...son of Joseph and Patricia Buderitz, majoring in Secondary Educaiton (History and Political Science).
