Xavier Harris was named an assistant coach for the Marywood University men's basketball team. Harris joins Coach Jon Showers' staff for the 2022-23 season.
Harris served as the head boys basketball coach for the Northeast Scranton Intermediate School from 2020 to 2022.
He has been the boys varsity national team assistant coach at the Riverfront Sports complex in Scranton since April 2021. Harris is the youth AAU coach at Riverfront Sports.
Harris is a basketball trainer for Harris Hoops in Scranton. He improves athletes' training habits and nutrition in order to become stronger, agile and effective players.
Harris played basketball at Scranton High School, leading the team in assists, field goal percentage and points per game. He resides in Scranton.
