Zachary Brunner

Zachary Brunner, a Wilkes University alumni and former men's basketball standout for the Colonels, was named a Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Marywood prior to the 2018-19 season. For two years, Brunner also served as the Graduate Assistant at Marywood.

Brunner will help Head Coach Enrico Mastroiannai with all facets of the men's basketball program, from recruiting to scouting and practice and game preparation. For the Athletic Department, Brunner will help lead site management for fall sports, organize and develop seminars for student-athletes and help with camp coordination and promotion.

Brunner earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in both Management and Sports Management from Wilkes this past spring.  At Marywood, he is continuing graduate work for a Master of Business Administration in Management degree.

At Wilkes, Brunner played four seasons at forward for the Colonels.  From 2014-2018, Brunner played in 105 games and started 102 of those.  He averaged 23.2 minutes per game, 8.9 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game.  He connected on 52% of his field goal attempts during his career and was a 75% free throw shooter.  He had 20 career blocks and 128 assists.
