Justin Patterson is Head Men's Lacrosse Coach / Fitness Center and Strength & Conditioning Supervisor at Marywood University in July 2022.

In Patterson's two seasons with the program, he has led the Pacers to back-to-back Atlantic East Conference Playoff appearances.

Patterson has also had seven student-athletes named to the All-Atlantic East Conference team during his time at the helm.

Prior to Scranton, Patterson came from Utica University in New York.

At Utica, Patterson served as Interim Head Men's Lacrosse Coach for the spring 2022 season. He had been with the Pioneers since the spring of 2019 as assistant coach where he was responsible for assisting with all facets of the Pioneers’ lacrosse program including scouting, recruiting, practice and game preparation to go along with day-to-day operations in the office.

As Interim Head Coach, Patterson oversaw all aspects of the men's lacrosse program and supervised assistant coaches. He had two players named Second Team All-Conference, two players named Third Team All-Conference and one player named Sportsperson of the Year by the Empire 8.

As assistant coach from 2019-2021, Patterson served as the Offensive Coordinator and Goalie Coach for the Pioneers. As Offensive Coordinator, Patterson oversaw man-up and managed the player substitution box. With both the 2020 and 2021 seasons impacted and shortened by the Covid-19 pandemic, Patterson still managed to bring in the first 15-plus commitment class in school history. In 2021, the Pioneers had the best start to a season since 2004 and ranked #1 in the conference in penalty kill and second in man-up percentage.

Prior to Utica, Patterson was the full-time offensive coordinator for Adrian College. He also had a stint at NCAA Division II Assumption College and spent time on the sidelines at Houghton College.
