Brian Osborne was named the Marywood University head men's soccer coach on January 31, 2025. In addition to leading the men’s soccer program, he also serves as Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, overseeing scheduling and rentals.
Osborne arrives at Marywood following a highly successful three-year tenure as head coach at Central Penn College. He guided the Knights to a 33-17-1 record and a .657 winning percentage, capturing back-to-back Eastern States Athletic Conference regular-season titles and an ESAC Tournament championship. In 2024, Central Penn finished as runner-up at the USCAA Division II National Championship.
For his efforts, Osborne was named USCAA Division II National Coach of the Year in 2023 and earned ESAC Coach of the Year honors in both 2023 and 2024. During his three seasons, he mentored 11 USCAA All-Americans.
Prior to Central Penn, Osborne served as boys’ soccer head coach at Cedar Cliff and Trinity (Camp Hill) high schools and was Cedar Cliff’s head track and field coach for nine seasons. He also held the role of Admissions Outreach Coordinator at Central Penn, where he helped develop and launch a sports management concentration within the Business Administration program.
Osborne was a two-year starter at Misericordia University and was previously an invited walk-on at Temple University before an injury ended his soccer career. At Misericordia, he was a USTFCCCA All-Region performer in the 200- and 400-meter runs and later competed in track and field at Temple.
Earlier in his career, Osborne worked as a high school science and elementary physical education teacher in the Harrisburg School District. He also served as an inventory management specialist for the United States Navy and as an office manager for the Harrisburg City Islanders professional soccer team.
Osborne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sport and recreational management from Temple University in 2011.
