DeJon Bennett-Monroe '19 was recently named the Assistant Coordinator of Sports Communications, Marketing/Promotions and Game Management. This position is funded by the NCAA as part of an Ethnic/Minority grant. He also serves as an Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field coach at Marywood University. Bennett-Monroe was previously a volunteer assistant with the program.
Bennett-Monroe served as a graduate assistant in the Alumni Office and University Advancement. He was also the Graduate School Committee Public Relations and Events Coordinator at the university.
Bennett-Monroe is enrolled in the graduate program for interior architecture at Marywood. He's received his Sprints, Hurdles, and Relay Specialist Certification along with an Track and Field Technical Certification from the USTFCCA Academy. He holds a bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture with a minor in Illustration from Marywood. As a student, Bennett-Monroe was a five-year student-athlete in Track and Field, Cross Country and Rugby.
