Dylan Gearinger

Dylan Gearinger was named head coach of the Marywood University men's and women's cross country and track and field programs in the summer of 2022. As a former Division III individual national champion, Gearinger will lead a Pacers program that has swept every cross country and track and field championship in the Atlantic East Conference's history. 

As a student-athlete, Gearinger was a standout runner at Haverford College. He was an NCAA champion in the 3,000 run at the 2018 Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama. He finished the race with a 8:16.77, beating the field by 1.42 seconds. 

With the Fords, Gearinger was a nine-time Centennial Conference individual champion. He was selected the USATF Mid-Atlantic Athlete of the Year in 2019 and 2020. Gearinger was honored as a Google Cloud Academic All-American by the CoSIDA. 

In his post-collegiate career, Gearinger has earned success on the national stage. He is a two-time USATF National Track and Field Championships qualifier. Gearinger ranked in the Top 100 in the international world rankings in the indoor 3000 meter run in 2019. He ranked in the Top 10 by U.S. Marathon Rankings in 2021. 

Gearinger is the owner of FrontRunner Coaching Services based out of Philadelphia, offering private coaching services to long distance runners at all levels. From 2019-21, he coached Philadelphia Runner Track Club, leading them to their highest finish ever (eighth) at the club cross country championships. He also served as an elite coordinator with the Philadelphia Runner Track Club. 

A native of Berwick in nearby Columbia County, Gearinger earned a bachelor's in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from Haverford College. He received a master's degree in neurobiology from Thomas Jefferson University.
