Biography

2009...CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 Second Team.  NFCA/Louisville Slugger All-East Region second team.  First Team All-Conference.  CSAC All-Academic Team.  Team MVP. Selected as team captain. Led the Pacers to a school-record 27 wins in her senior year while establishing several new single-season and career records from 2006-2009.  Cook established new career school records for highest batting average (.435), games played (146), runs scored (153), hits (218), doubles (45) and triples (19).  In 2009, she set single-season marks for triples (10) while having set four other single season records in 2008 (runs scored - 47; hits - 66; triples - 10; highest batting average - .524).  In 2009, batted .421 in 35 games played with 48 hits, 8 doubles, 10 triples and a home-run.  Also had 36 runs scored and 14 RBI as well as a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at second base.  CSAC Player of the Week (March 22, April 19).

2008...CoSIDA / ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American, College Division Softball, Third-Team. Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-East Region First Team at-large selection.  CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 First Team.  All-PAC First Team selection.  PAC All-Academic Spring 2008.  Set single-season school records for runs scored (47), hits (66), batting average (.524), and owns career Marywood records for hits (170) and batting average (.439) through three seasons.  Led team with .524 batting average.  Played and started in all 39 games. Went 66-for-126 at the plate with team-leading 16 doubles.  Had four triples and eight homeruns.  Had a .905 slugging percentage and 114 total bases.  Had a .978 fielding percentage with 94 put-outs, 81 assists and just four errors.  Was 17-20 in stolen base attempts. 

2007...All-PAC Honorable Mention. Team Co-MVP. Third on team with .361 batting average after going 44-122.  Team-leading 44 hits and 29 runs scored.  Seven doubles and one triple.  Had 61 put-outs and 54 assists while committing only one error for a .983 fielding percentage. 

2006...All-PAC First Team.  Team MVP. Established Marywood single-season records for Runs Scored (41) and Hits (60).  Led team in both categories.  Led team with .432 batting average.  Played and started in all 38 games.  Had 14  doubles, four triples and two home-runs.  Led team with 32 RBI and 88 total bases.  Team-leading .633 slugging percentage.  Defensively had 49 put-outs and 63 assists while committing only 9 errors for a .926 fielding percentage.

Personal...Daughter of Robert and Debi Cook, majoring in Health & Physical Education and Athletic Training.
