Jason Holman was named the Marywood University assistant women's basketball coach for the 2025-26 season.
Holman previously served as the junior high and varsity assistant boys basketball coach at Mid Valley High School in nearby Troop. In his two seasons, Holman led the Spartans to two district playoff appearances and a PIAA postseason run.
At Mid Valley, he was contributed to daily practice plans, designed drills focused on guard/big play, shooting efficiency, and defensive positioning; developed and implemented off season training programs with players; assisted in scouting reports, opponent film breakdowns and adjustments mid-game; and conducted individual training sessions with players.
Holman also served as the assistant volleyball coach at Mid Valley. He coached junior high softball at Carbondale Area and Riverside High School.
Holman played five seasons with the Marywood men's basketball program from 2018-23. He was selected First Team All-Atlantic East in 2021-22 and Second Team All-Atlantic East in 2022-23.
At Marywood, he was named NABC Honors Court and Atlantic East Academic Honor Roll five times. Holman was the Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2022-23. Holman earned two Team MVPs.
Holman received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2023.
