Joe Reno will join the Marywood University women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2018-19 season.
Reno has served as the head coach for the Tunkhannock High School girls basketball team from 2013-18. He has also served as the head coach for the NEPA Flames AAU program since 2010.
Prior to his head coaching experience, he has been involved in coaching at the youth level at Archbald, St. Anne's/West Scranton, and Mid Valley. Reno was a junior high coach and varsity assistant at Valley View prior to joining the Tigers' staff.
Reno is a real estate property manager based in Brooklyn, N.Y. for the past 13 years. Prior to that, he was employed as an NBA video operations assistant for the New York Knicks from 1999 to 2015. He began his career in account executive group sales for Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.
Reno received his bachelor's degree from The University of Scranton in 1994. He holds an advanced degree in sports administration from George State University.
