PERSONAL: Daughter of Diana and Alejandro Gil, majoring in History/Social Studies Education. 

WHY MARYWOOD?: I chose Marywood because I wanted to complete my athletic and academic career in an environment that would allow me to prioritize my studies while exploring new interests. Its close proximity to home was another important factor, and Marywood’s Catholic identity made me feel even more connected to the university and community. It has become a place where I have grown a lot as a student, athlete, and person.
