Maegen Eddinger

Maegen Eddinger was selected the head women's volleyball coach at Marywood University in December 2024, becoming the 12th head coach in program history. 

Eddinger assumes her third head coaching position. She previously served as the head coach at Keystone College and SUNY Broome.

During her four years at Keystone, Eddinger compiled a 51–49 overall record and engineered a dramatic turnaround for the Giants, improving the program from three wins in 2021 to 20 victories in 2024. Keystone increased its winning percentage in each of her four seasons. She was named United East Conference Coach of the Year in 2023. Her final season in La Plume was highlighted by a 20–7 overall record and a 7–3 mark in conference play.

Eddinger guided the Giants to the United East divisional semifinals in 2023 and the Colonial States Athletic Conference semifinals in 2022. Under her leadership, Keystone produced 11 all-conference student athletes and one conference Rookie of the Year honoree. The Giants also earned the United East Team Academic Award twice for the highest team GPA during the 2023 and 2024 season.

In 2025, Eddinger was selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Head Coaches Committee, representing the Atlantic East Conference.

Prior to Keystone, Eddinger spent six seasons as head coach at SUNY Broome where she enjoyed significant success at the junior college level. She was a three-time Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and led the Hornets to MSAC championships in 2016 and 2018. Her 2018 team advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament, and she earned NJCAA Region III and District A Coach of the Year honors that same season.


Eddinger began her coaching career as an assistant coach at SUNY Oneonta from 2007-09. She also coached at Delaware Academy in 2008 and later with Edge Extreme Club Volleyball from 2014-15. In addition to her coaching experience, Eddinger competed with USA Volleyball (IREVA) from 2016 to 2018 as a travel player and team representative.

A native of Owego, N.Y., Eddinger played collegiately at SUNY Oneonta from 2004–06. She was a SUNYAC All-Conference selection and received New York State Women’s Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2006. She holds several school records for the Red Dragons, including career digs per set (5.42). She also ranks second all-time in single-season digs (694) and single-season digs per set (5.78), and third in career service percentage (.954).

Outside of athletics, Eddinger serves as a sales manager at Worldwide Sport Supply in Vestal, N.Y.

Eddinger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the State University of New York at Oneonta. She resides in Mountain Top, Pa.
