Jacob Layton was named Marywood University's head Valorant coach for its esports program.
Layton was previously the Harrisburg University Storm junior varsity coach from 2024-25. He led the Storm to fifth place in the group stage.
He interned for the Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League. Layton also served as the student tournament director at Harrisburg University Esports.
As a student, he was tournament director for PA Cup 2024 and student volunteer for HUE Fest 2024.
After transferring to Harrisburg from Lebanon Valley, Layton became the in-game leader of the club Valorant team.
