Maegen Eddinger

Maegen Eddinger was selected the head women's volleyball coach at Marywood University in December 2024. Eddinger becomes the 12th head coach in Marywood volleyball history. 

Eddinger assumes her third head coaching post. She previously served as the head coach at Keystone College and SUNY Broome. 

In her four seasons at Keystone, Eddinger collected a 51-51 overall record. She improved the Giants from three wins in 2021 to 20 victories in 2024. Keystone increased its winning percentage every season. 

Eddinger was named the United East Conference Coach of the Year in 2023. In her final season in La Plume, the Giants had a 20-7 overall and 7-3 conference record. 

In 2025, she was selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Head Coaches Committee as the Atlantic East Conference's representative. 

She took the Giants to the United East divisional semifinals in 2023 and the Colonial States Athletic Conference semis in 2022. 

Throughout her four season, Keystone featured 11 all-conference student-athletes and one conference Rookie of the Year award. 

Keystone collected the United East Team Academic Award for highest GPA during the 2023 campaign. 

Prior to Keystone, Eddinger coached for six seasons at SUNY Broome. She was a three-time Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. She took the Hornets to a MSAC championship in 2016 and 2018. 

Eddinger garnered NJCAAA Region III and District A Coach of the Year honors in 2018. That season, the Hornets made an NJCAA national tournament appearance. 

Eddinger served as an assistant coach at SUNY Oneonta from 2007-10. 

A native of Owego, N.Y., she played collegiately at Oneonta State from 2004-06. She was named to the SUNYAC All-Conference team and received New York State Women's Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2006. 

Eddinger holds the Red Dragons' school record for career digs per set with 5.42. She ranked second all-time in single-season digs (694), second in single-season digs per set (5.78), and third in career service percentage (.954). 

Outside of athletics, Eddinger is a sales manager at Worldwide Sport Supply in Vestal, N.Y.

Eddinger holds Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the State University of New York at Oneonta. She resides in Mountain Top.
