Shana Keeler enters her third season as the head coach of Marywood University's Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving programs. She also serves as the Aquatics Director.

In her first two seasons at the helm, Keeler led the women's team to a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Atlantic East Conference Championships. Marywood improved its men's swimming finish to fifth place in 2024. 

In 2023-24, Keeler had two men's individual all-conference finishes for the first time since the 2019-20 season. The men's team won the Atlantic East Team Academic Award in 2022-23. 

At the 2023-24 championships, Keeler's women's squad doubled its all-conference performances. Aubrey Mangan and Samantha Peck each finished second place in their individual events. 

Collegiately, Keeler swam two years at Widener University (2000-2002) and reached the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships top-five in the 100, 200 and 500 Freestyles. From 2004-2006 she competed for The University of Scranton and was a top-six finisher in multiple events (400IM, 500 free, 1650 free) at the MAC Championships. In 2004, Keeler was named The University of Scranton Rev Paul Beining, SJ, Team Spirit Award Recipient. 

As the owner of a local CrossFit gym from 2014- 2020, Keeler privately trained local high school and club teams including Pittston Area basketball, Riverside High School JV football, Pacers Aquatic Club and local swimmers, in cross training and strength training. Many of these athletes went on to play at Marywood University, The University of Scranton, Lafayette University, Loyola University of Maryland, Misericordia University, Wilkes University. Keeler has been locally recognized for multiple years as "Best Fitness Facility" and "Best Fitness instructor."

At Bishop Hoban High School (now Holy Redeemer in Wilkes-Barre), Keeler held multiple high school team records - including the 200 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay. She competed at PIAA State Championships at Penn State University with the Argents all four years, earning All-American honors. Keeler was the 1998 State Champion in the 400 Freestyle Relay. In 1999, she earned second place in the 200 Medley Relay, fourth place in the 200 Free and garnered All-State recognition. Keeler was a District Champion in multiple events and held multiple District 2 records.

In 1998 Keeler was a Greater Scranton YMCA - YMCA National Swimmer (1998) where she competed at the YMCA National Championship meet held at the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

An avid fitness enthusiast, Keeler currently competes at the masters level of CrossFit, Olympic lifting, triathlons, and open water swimming.   

She graduated from the University of Scranton in 2012 with a B.S. in Counseling and Human Service where she was on the Dean's List in the Panuska College of Professional Studies.
