Scranton, PA - Zack Haney won two individual events and was on the winning 400 medley relay for the men's team and Virginia Cobb had two wins on the women's side as Marywood's swimming and diving programs beat visiting Cazenovia College Sunday afternoon. Both the men and women now stand at 2-1 on the year, with their only loss being to Division I Manhattan College. On Sunday, the men beat the Wildcats 108-46 while the women won 125-75.

Haney was on the Pacers winning 400 medley relay team as he teamed with Brian Shanahan, Joseph Buderwitz and Paul Kraycer for a winning time of 3:58.40. Haney would later win the 200 butterfly (2:06.96) and the 500 free (5:07.90). Kraycer won the 50 free in 23.36 and Shanahan won the 200 back in 2:10.29.

Anthony Pisano also won two events for the men, claiming the 100 free in 50.91 and the 200 free in 1:56.86. Jason Beabout also won the 1000 free for the men (10:38.00).

Cobb won both the 200 free (2:12.80) and 500 free (5:54.89). Marywood took second in both those events as well, as Kayleigh Velott came in at 2:17.87 in the 200 and Julissa Quezada was second in the 500 (6:04.97).

Val Barlow was the winner of the 50 free (27.14) as Marywood swept the event with Vanessa LaTorre finishing second in 28.06 and Hailey Moorehead coming in third with a time of 29.58. Shanna Carwell and Tricia Caiati finished 1-2 in the 1000 free with Carwell winning in 12:01.53 and Caiati touching next in 12:21.69. Quezada also won the 200 IM in 2:27.80 for the Pacers.

Katie Ciszek (3:01.16) and Vinelys Mendez (3:17.09) placed first and second in the 200 butterfly for the women and Marywood's Barlow, Abby Nicholas, Ciszek and Ashley Foltz won the 200 free relay in 1:55.91.

In exhibition one meter diving, Courtney Snyder placed first with a score of 189.70 while Annarose Quinn scored a 184.85. Tom Muscarello scored a 158.25 to lead the men.

Both squads will be back in action next Friday evening when the Pacers take a trip to Wilkes-Barre to square off against King's College.
