Volleyball drops pair to Randolph, Marymount

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Washington, D.C. - Marywood University women's volleyball dropped a pair of matches 3-0 Saturday to Randolph College and Marymount University at The Catholic University of America Invitational in Washington, D.C. The Pacers fell to Randolph 25-14, 25-18, 25-15. Marywood followed it with a loss to Marymount by scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-22.

Amy Kester registered seven digs and six blocks against the Jackets. Mikayla Bristol matched Kester with seven digs and led the team with five kills. Danielle DeIullio picked up eight assists.

In the second game against the Saints, DeIullio tabbed 14 assists and a team-high four service aces. Like she did in the first match of the day, Kester contributed seven digs.

Ashley Zalewski made eight kills on nine attempts. Kathleen Green produced a kill on each of her five attempts.

After falling behind big in the first game against Marymount, Marywood played tough in the latter two matches, falling to the Saints 25-22 both times.

Marywood play host Catholic Sunday at 10:00 am. Links to live video for the Cardinal match will be available on the Marywood athletics website. The Pacers finish the invitational by facing off against New Jersey City University at noon.
