Women's Golf Remains Unbeaten, Tops Misericordia 6-0

Mount Cobb, Pa. - Marywood University remained unbeaten on the year in women's golf as the Pacers toppled Misercorida 6-0 in a match play event held at Scranton Municipal Golf Course in Mount Cobb. The Pacers now stand at 5-0 on the year.

In the top flight, Christiane Lowcher defeated Alexis Wyandt, 4 and 3. Serena Woody won by that same score over Kelly Williams at number two.

In the tightest match of the afternoon, Juliet Lepri escaped Kate Varallo at number five with a 3 and 2 victory. Kimberly Geary (7 and 5), Brianna Baker (8 and 6) and Tessa Briselden (6 and 5) also earned wins for Marywood in the shutout victory.

The Pacers return to action this Saturday at the East Stroudsburg Fall Classic held at Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill.
