Men's Soccer Drops CSAC Tilt to Immaculata, 1-0

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University fell to 0-2 in CSAC play as the Pacers suffered a 1-0 setback to visiting Immaculata University Saturday afternoon in Scranton. The Mighty Macs improved to 3-6-1 (1-1 CSAC) with the win while Marywood dropped to 3-5 overall.

Immaculata got the only goal they would need in the 13th minute of action. Connor Lindsay would serve a ball in from the left perimiter that Alex Noel would head in from 12 yards out for the eventual game-winner.

Despite outshooting the visitors 19-11 (7-5 on goal) and having six corners to that of five for the Mighty Macs, Marywood was unable to find the equalizer.

Ryan Reilly's attempt from 35 yards out in the 75th minute sailed just high and an apparent goal from Zac Lloyd off a feed from Nick Dyer with 10 minutes remaining was called back due to offsides.

Michael Mejia had four saves for the Pacers while his counterpart Mikey Kalpokas had a game-high seven in the shutout win for Immaculata.

Marywood travels to nearby Clarks Summit to take on the Defenders Wednesday at 3:30 pm.
